So the season's over but the drama isn't

This is the first Sunday since last August that I won't be preoccupied with Bangor's result. To be honest our season never really got going. It wasn't until Bleo's arrival that we seemed to click. Unfortunately that didn't happen until February.

So our season finished with two defeats in South Wales, not unexpected but frustrating none the less. Our thoughts were turning towards next season and they were filled with hope,as were mine. that was until Tuesday, when the bombshell landed; Jiws has been released, Bangor legend Marc Lloyd Williams won't be playing for us next season.

This wasn't unexpected due to the manager's comments at the fans' forum but it was still a little shocking. We've now lost two striking legends this season, I suppose we just have to trust Bleo as he seems to know what he's doing. I was really happy to see you return last summer and now I'm really sorry to see you go Marc. Thanks for all of the great memories down the years, I'm sure you'll be back in some capacity one day.

Other departures were announced and these were slightly more worrying, Mark Smyth and another unnamed player were off, to Yeovil and Cheltenham respectively. The season had been over less than a week and I was already worrying about the next one. On top of the release of Jiws this all made me a little unnerved, although you can't argue with players moving into the Football League. I suppose we'll just have to trust Bleo, he can find suitable replacements! On the bright side, at least this has started early so we'll have a chance to get used to it.
