The Welsh Cup starts but I'm off to Wolverhampton

Bangor City 3 Llandyrnog United 0
Welsh Cup

Today was the start of Bangor's hopefully successful Welsh Cup campaign. Unfortunately I only saw the kick off and a few preliminary moves, roughly 2 minutes of the game. After this point in proceedings I had to get the train to Wolverhampton. It was 0-0 when I left although I was still in touch with proceedings through Dewi’s texts. I might not've seen the game in its entirety but as I'd been to a part of the game on the cosmic list I had been to it. Consequently I kept up my 100% record, I was still level with Mash.

Dewi let me know the score was 3-0 to Bangor, apparently we were awful. After meeting Mike in Crewe we went off for our reunion. It was a very very good weekend. This is what weekends such all be about, it was unadulterated joy. It did feel a little strange to visit the places of our youthful entertainments after such a hiatus though. The Royal London was still there but with different decor. The Wanderer was still there. The union was still there but it was underused - our group of thirty was the only real life in there. The university had changed beyond recognition though, it was all glass and steel now.

Blast Off was still there, we went in and thankfully it hadn’t changed. The basic formula seemed to be consistent; Cheap alcohol, top tunes and a lot dancing. I was immediately 7 years younger. Tonight there was an added attraction, the Wulfrun Hall was also open; 3 rooms of blissful music. We moved amongst the rooms like duo hungry for vibes, we found them in abundance. Unfortunately after the night finished our old routine was broken; Spar was hut, it used to 24 hr.

I woke up feeling my age, maybe this was why we only had a reunion 7 years.

We have Moved
