Denbigh play in Red

Llandudno 1 Denbigh Town 2
North Wales Coast Cup

I only arrived at half-time, but still enough time to get frost bite, what a cruel wind!!! It came all the way from Russia don't you know. Do these Eastern Winds ever carry anything useful or positive to North Wales? No, all they deposit in North Wales is Radiation and Hypothermia. Bring on global warming I say!!!! I did get in for nothing though (money-saving tip there).
The North Wales Coast Cup is up for grabs, which incidentally Bangor won at Llandudno last year. Match seemed "OK" from what I saw (in between trips to the clubhouse to warm myself up). Denbigh took a two goal lead. Llandudno then pulled one back for the "tense finish" (Cliche Department TM). Kenny Burgess, a Bangor legend, scored one for Denbigh and Timmy Mutton, another WPL player, scored the other. When Denbigh won there was some rather loud cheering. What exactly is "GET IN THERE!!!" supposed to mean, get in where exactly? Another example from the rich tapestry of football-speak.
I didn't manage to see any Rhyl players being followed by fawning scallies on this occassion.
