The BBC has announced today that Wales are due to play New Zealand in a friendly match at Wrexham. As you may have gathered this match is in the sport of football and not rugby. The good people of north Wales now have another mouth-watering game to look forward to, one presumes that Argentina, Brazil or Spain were too busy.
Why didn't the FAW go the whole hog and invite Guatemala along for a game? Me and my mates were also free and could have given them a good workout before the Czech game, but no call came and I'm on their mailing list!! At least in North Wales we actually go to friendlies, unlike the good people of Swansea. A full house will be in attendance no doubt.
