Bangor City 3 Port Talbot Town 2
Welsh Premier League
An entertaining game; Thrills, spills and wet trousers. Another "better than average" performance from the boys, and that's two in less than a week. Hopefully this will carry on next Saturday and the semi.
Port Talbot scored first, then Lamby equalised with a supurb volley and it was 1-1 at half time.
An intriguing sight in the first half was a large English flag with YTFC in the corners and Goytre Greens across the middle. No-one seemed to have a clue about it. Why would you support Yeovil if you were from Port Talbot? Why would you bring the flag to Port Talbot games? At least there was something in the away end.

The second half was greeted with heavier rain so Dewi and I took shelter in the stand. From there you watch the game from a different perspective, i.e. you can hear all of the moaning from the more senior fans. Robbo added a second from a low shot. Port Talbot equalised thanks to what looked like an unwarrented Free Kick.
We decided that our support was needed behind the goal. This is normally a good idea in principle but today however a soaking ensued thanks to my flimsy jacket, followed no doubt by flu later this week. You take you life in your hands watching Bangor. The number 4 from Port Talbot earned some well-natured joshing when he jokingly pointed out that Maxie had kicked the ball away and should be booked. Karma came his way when Kyle Jones scored a last minute winner for the blues. HA HA.
