Caernarfon town 1 TNS 3
When there is a football match on a bank holiday what else can a football addict do but go to it? TNS showed in this match why they are the champs, they were very good in possession (in contrast to the alehouse football of Rhyl). They did go behind though when Lee Jones scored a penalty but powered on to score 3.
The match was spoilt a little bit by a "humourous" TNS fan. He seemed to think he was the heir to Peter Cook, every Cofi fan walking past was called "BOYO" rather loudly, as if Llansantfraid was a sprawling metropolis or something.
Not only did this match draw me but several other bangor fans as well as Gwyn Pierce Owen and Alun Griffiths, the President and Secretary of Bangor; Osian Roberts, Porth manager and Ben Ogilivy and Carl Jones, two Bangor starlets.I saw Gwyn Pierce talking to Osian Roberts, maybe he was negotiating the return of Les, you heard it here first!!!!
