The score might suggest a frustrating result and that would be right. The referee put in a truly awful display and failed to see some nasty late tackles, do they practice them in training in Porthmadog or something?
A goaless first half was followed by a Porthmadog goal early in the second half thanks to a defensive mix up. Bangor hit back with two of their own including a beauty from Robbo. It was reminicent of Romario as he dummied two Port defenders and the goalkeeper in the 6 yard box. The joy didn't last as Port equalised from a move that everyone and their dogs could see should have been stopped for a foul on Jiws. Apart from that the signs looked good as you got the general feeling that Bangor should have won and that the situation is generally more hopeful than last season.
At the end of the match we hobnobbed with the players in the regency, oh la di dahh.
