I was incredibly tired so I hoped for a victory in full time, it wasn't to be as the game went the full 120 minutes. On top of that I missed the Sting on TV too.
The match started off well as we took the lead through Jiws. Caersws made the scores level about 5 minutes before half-time. We were attacking the St. Paul's end in the second half so surely this would mean that goals would follow. The amount of possesion that Bangor had would suggest that we should have scored at least two. When you also factor in the chances created and the fact that the woodwork came into contact with the ball a couple of times then you wonder how Bangor didn't win.
Sod's law stated that Bangor would score just after the start of extra time and they did, why couldn't they have done that in the last minute when Jiws had a free header in the 6 yard box. The selfish bastards made me miss my bus. A minute later Caersws gained the reward for their robust style as they had a man sent off. Ricky Evans was also sent off and later followed by a second Caersws player in the last minute, for idiotically kicking the ball at the ref after Bangor's third goal. All in all we're glad to get through.
