Goals Aplenty

Llandudno 4 Llanfairpwll 4
Cymru Alliance

I arrived late as I was on a quest to buy a pirate outfit for tommorrow night, unsuccessfully. I was informed by the guy on the turnstile that the 'Dudno were winning 3-0. After I went bought my usual drink from the clubhouse I found out that it was actually 3-1 to Llandudno. Unfortunately this didn't end my confusion for the afternoon.

At the start of the second half Llandudno looked odds on for the win as they attacked a lot. Llanfair then pulled one back. Llandudno went 4-2 up. As the temperature was descending and the pressure of finding an outfit beginning to impinge I contemplated leaving early. As I was in the throes of deciding Llanfair scored again. I was definietly going, or was I? Surely no-one should leave a match when it is poised so delicately. Whilst keeping warm in the clubhouse the familar noise of players celebrating accompained by silence from the majority of the crowd indicated that Llanfair had scored agian. The score was now 4-4.

What sounds like a very exciting game was a bity of a non-event for me as me head wasn't really here. It was in the 17th century, on a pirate ship deciding which pantaloons to wear.
